Evaporate What’s Left

It pulls me in, I arch my back, and breathe smoke to the sky,
My ruby lips; they part and crack, as my mouth begins to dry.
Shape-shifting clouds, I am upside down,
Don't turn me back around, ‘cause I am flying now.
Slow motion run across hot coals, crunching every bone,
Blissfully lost and broken in a land I call my own.

Take a whack, slap me back, and make me feel the world,
A reality hack to rejoin the pack - I’m no longer a part of this world.
But the hurt, you see, it follows, it devours me and it swallows,
Every bit, I'm hollow, please help me God I'm hollow.
