Twisting Fate

Looking for a meaning behind this coincidence,
Hid behind the timbers of a black and white picket fence,
Reality seems to shift as we collide into each other,
Circumstance tears us apart as our fingertips get closer.
Backwards serendipity, events unfold in front of me,
Now I wonder, could this be, an intertwining synchronicity?

Transcending up and out my body at the four times one,
My retinas start to burn from the bright rays of the sun,
What you found was meant for you on this sheet of paper,
Follow me now to the end; to the dark side of the rainbow.
Backwards serendipity, events unfold in front of me,
Now I know that this must be, an intertwining synchronicity.

We defy causality, by a chain of reactions not meant to be,
Something cosmic here is happening and it’s adding up to twenty-three.
For we met inside a dusty shed, by chance I found you here,
And if by magic you found my tracks, before they disappeared.
We coexist inside this sphere, without a second glance,
What brought us here could be nothing more than a second chance.

Beautiful serendipity, these events are now so clear to me,
It started under an apple tree, where I displaced gravity.
